Does anyone know how does excessive demand is calculated. Recently (4 days ago) IRC tripled the annual threshold for medical care cost for denying PR application for people with disability. So for example, if I have a disabled child, how can I find out the annual costs for her care before applying (because if her annual care cost is more than the threshold then my application will be denied anyway)? Or is the answer that I would still have to apply and go through the entire application process (express entry, waiting, police clearance, language testing, credential evaluation) and then receive a denial if the threshold is exceeded.

Looking for your thoughts.

The IRCC web site offers this, which is probably the best guide to assessment.
