If you are requested to do a DNA test by CIC to prove the relationship between the sponsor and a dependent child and it so happens that the test comes out negative.

1. How does that affect the decision of the Visa Officer?
2. Does it mean direct denial of the visa?

Thank you for the feedback in advance.

I'm assuming they're asking for a DNA test to confirm you are the biological father. If you're not the biological father, then I assume, yes the Visa for the child will be denied. Unless you undergo some adoption process.

Good luck!
