My husband has a b2 visitors visa for the US and wants to get an extension. I have heeard you must have a valid reason, but I am not sure what counts as valid in the eyes of the immigration people. If anyone can help please do !

I also have some questions about the application forms for PR.
1. Do i have to write NA in every single little box or is it ok if I write it at the beginning of the section where the number is.

2. Since we are married, am I required to send in the statutory declaration of common law union form.

3. on the imm 5540 form number 8 asks about countries I have resided in. Does that mean countries I have lived in for 6 months or more or should I include my visits to my husbands country.

4. Do I need to submit page 2 of the Application for permanent residence in Canada form if my husband has no family memebers accompanying him to canada.

5. On the schedule 1 Background form on page 3 it asks for a list of places he has lived since his 18th birthday. Does that include visits that lasted 5 months New york visiting his grandmother.

Thanks! I know its a lot but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Don't know the answer to your question about the US. Sorry.

But as for the others:

1. Yes
2. No
3. Countries where you have lived for 6 months or more.
4. Yes, and write "No applicable family members" in the first box
5. No, it does not include visits. If he was only visiting his grandmother for less than 6 months, the answer is no because he is not "living" there. But if he is planning to stay longer than 6 months then I would include that address as well.
