I'd like to start of by saying this forum has been so supportive. and just the amount of Knowledge shared among everyone is amazing.

I have some concerns,
I am sponsoring my husband and want to make sure I am well prepared for his arrival and giving him the best start to his/our new life.
what things must I have ready before his arrival

background information.
- I've recently moved back in with my parents and picked up a part time job (on top of my full-time job) to save money

questions:
-When would you advise I get an apartment? after PPR? 1 month before his landing? 2!
-My husband is French speaking with very basic knowledge of the English Language, How soon after he lands should I register him for English Classes
- Should I get his degree accredited by WES now or after?
-When should i encourage him to start looking for a job to simulate to Canadian living?
-Should he apply for his G1 (ontario) right away
- How soon after is landing can I create a life insurance policy for him

I've never been through this process before, so any advise I can get will be greatly appreciated.

How did you prepare for your spouse?

These are very individual questions based on your life and culture, and husband! What does he want to do? What do you want to do?

If it were me, I'd say learning the language is very important, assuming he wants to do it. And I don't see why he'd wait getting his degree accredited, assuming you have access to the required documents.
