30-11-2011, x-ray delayed (pregnancy), redone on August 31, 2012
Much to my great surprise and pleasure, CIC made a rapid decision after the completion of the X-ray which had been delayed due to Anna's pregnancy. They were so fast that I didn't even get a chance yet to send them my new family information. My daughter was born in Ottawa, Canada on July 25th. The file has now been transferred to Ottawa, presumably, and we are waiting for Anna's landing interview.

Where do I now send the updated family information: Ottawa or Vegreville? Do I even need to bother sending them this info since our child is Canadian?

According to the application you need only include dependents that are not already Canadian Citizens, which your daughter is, tho I would inform them of the birth it should not affect the rest of the process. I changed my address 3 months ago with Ottawa and my case was transferred to LA and I got PPR and still no update on my address so I sent a copy of the e-mail to Ottawa to LA with my passport, explaining that I don't know if the address had in fact been updated cus of course I want my passport to come back to me here, my point... even if you do inform them it may not even be in the system when you get to the landing interview. Just have your daughter's birth certificate with you. Good Luck!

Forms have changed since I filled them out in 2010, but there is a section there for every other family member financially dependent upon me. Question 6b) of the sponsorship evaluation. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5481E.PDF. I guess I should give them a call. I'm almost afraid at this stage to rock the boat and risk prolonging the process.

But your daughter is a Canadian Citizen. I got my passport request last week and it said this in it....
CCP'd from e-mail
NOTE: If you are expecting a child and are able to land in Canada before the child is born, you should do so. Failure to land before additional dependants are born will result in the need for a new application and new fees for all family members.

The CIC telling me if I'm pregnant land before the baby is born cus the baby would then be Canadian and not need to be included in the application therefore, not having to add anything to the application. looking at the form you provided ... your daughter would added in 6B and you do not need undertaking for her as she is already Canadian. I am not saying you do not need to inform them of her birth just that she is Canadian Citizen and does not have any bearing on your wife's application.

Modified to ask this question: were you asked to signed a new sponsorship evaluation form?
