My FSW app was approved for 2nd round review but I heard it's tricky to get the app fee back during the 2nd round review. Since my interest in immigrating to canada has died down in recent months, I wonder how I could get my money back the easiest way possible. Is there a form I should complete or number I can call.

I am almost at the 120-day limit so I better act quickly. Any help is appreciated.

My understanding is that if your 120 days passes without you having sent the set of documents to the visa office, then they reject your application and refund the fees. Can someone confirm that?

You could also fax them or send them a mail to say that you are withdrawing your application. Can someone confirm this is the way to do it.

Write a cover letter to your local CHC and mention to them that you want to withdraw your application? and they will send you back a letter to confirm your request, and finally you will receive full refund within 6 to 8 weeks. I hope this help.

Cheers

Not to doubt you. But I wonder why the local CHC is the appropriate contact point? I mean..I never contacted them, and when I sent my app, it wasn't to them either. Did anyone go through this process before care to comment?

it is because your application now resides at the local CHC (if sydney has already approved you).
