I am in cameroon and i wish to study in Canada but i dont know how to go about it , and i was wondering if i have to pay my tuition fees before i can be granted a student Visa ???

Need urgent Help with experience guys..

thanks

Start by checking http://www.cic.gc.ca/ and select the study menu. Return to the forum if you have further questions.

You must pay tuition up front, plus have at least $10,000 CAD in your bank account for living expenses. You will be subject to international tuition, which ads about 40% to the price of schooling.

In addition, you'll have to claim your gf and baby in Canada on your application for a student permit. It's likely they would decline that, believing you won't leave Canada at the end of your schooling.

I can make up the budget needed ($10,000) and im able to pay my fees , well what i want to know is must i include my GF and Child in my application? cant i leave them out ?

You have to list them as non-accompanying family members. If you don't list them, it will make problems when you try to apply for PR later.

1. You must include family names on application.
2. Not necessary to pay tuition fees in advance, it all depend on the school admission policy.
3. You apply via Senegal CHC http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/senegal/visas/study-etude.aspx?view=d
