How do I get a LMIA?

Hello,

I am currently working for Vipond Fire Protection under a post graduation work permit. I just wanted to know what do I have to tell my employer when the time of renewing the permit comes. I was hired as a full time worker.
I know I have to get an LMIA but what are the steps to get it? Or is it something my employer has to get for me?
