Firstly, this is all based on what will happen once COVID is a bit more under control.
My girlfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for too long. We decided that our best course of action is for her to move up here from Florida so that we can live together. Unfortunately, this seems like an almost impossible feat. We have done so much research, but everything that comes up seems to cost a ton of money (via savings or school) or will take potentially years.
I am hoping that someone here may have an answer. I own a home, have a great job, and am able to take care of the both of us for however long I need to, but ultimately she also wants to work and help pay for things. Would the best course of action be for her to apply for a work VISA and just live with me for the 6 months that is allowed upon entry until the VISA is approved?
I would appreciate any amount of help.
