I am new to this forum and I need to know how I can sponsor my child who is 22 years old
She is 22 not under 22. You had to apply before her 22nd birthday. Is she 22 or 21?The age limit of dependent children (for immigration purposes) has changed from “under 19” to “under 22.” This change applies to all new applications received on or after October 24, 2017.

How old is your daughter? Tell us that first. Does your child have a disability? Does she live with you 24/7 and need full time care? Can she work? Can I sponsor a child who is over the age limit for a dependant?
On October 24, 2017, the age limit for dependants changed from “under 19” to “under 22.” You can sponsor a child who is 22 years of age or older if they meet both of these requirements:
I need an interpretation of these laws please. I can sponsor her but I need some legal brains on the forum to explain to me.
- they have depended on their parents for financial support since before the age of 22, and
- they are unable to financially support themselves because of a mental or physical condition

So she is over 22. Does she have a disability? Can't work? Require full-time care? She is 23 years please.
Wrist pain is not a disability. You have to show with doctor and hospital reports that she will not be able to ever work and will need care 24/7. So she can work because many jobs don't involve lifting anything.3 years ago, she was fetching water to the house and fell. She had developed waist pains since then.
She just completed school. She can't lift any heavy equipment
