Use the internet to find a job and place to live before you come here.

Determine what skills you have and what place you like to live, so on...

We need more details. Are you planning to go to Canada on a visitor's visa, then change your mind about returning to your home country and instead apply for permanent residency? Careful how you proceed on that one; it might seem to Immigration that you misrepresented your intentions on entering Canada with a temporary visa, and that will give your file a black mark.

Here are some ideas for you:

1. Find an employer who wants to hire you

1a. the employer gets a labour market opinion for you and you can apply for a work permit
OR
1b. the employer gives you a job offer and you use it to apply for permanent residency directly, either by the employer sponsoring you through a Provincial nominee program or you yourself applying through the skilled worker program.

2. Find a college and apply to it, then apply for a study permit, after 6 months apply for an off-campus work permit, after graduation apply for a post-grad work permit. With the post-grad work permit find an employer and start working. Once you have enough hours:
2a. see about applying through a provincial nominee program
2b. see about applying through Canadian experience class (you would need either 2 years studies and 1 skilled work or if you don't have 2 years studies, then you need just 2 years work).
