how can i prove i have not taken refugee/asylum in canada

Hi guys
I went to BLS office in edmonton to apply for my Police Clearance Certificate(PCC). As i am on open work permit and work permit case type 27 they asked me to prove that i have not taken refugee/asylum in canada, to which i asked how can i apply and they even don't know. Has anyone gone through this or if somebody knows anything about it please give me a suggestion. I have applied under cec and got my medical and pcc request and there is an urgency to get pcc. so senior members please reply

contect to local area MP( member of parliament ) office and ask him I need this he can ask to cic about you and if he received a call from cic that he/she did not claim refugee status then he can made a letter , this letter will help you . Ok best of luck . Naveed
