I had a baby girl in 2008 at 23+ years but her father and i were not stable financially nor married. Our parents were also unhappy as we had her outside wedlock. We later got married but the child remained with his aunt away from us. We got married and now have 3 additional kids. I am hoping to immigrate to Canada with all my children but we can't find the birth certificate we did back in 2008, i have done a new birth certificate in 2022. Will this cause any issues for me.Please advise

Canadian government do not care if you were married or not when you gave birth. If the child is yours, include her. They could request DNA test if they have doubt on the child's relationship with you.

Is it a new birth certificate or a copy of the old one with the original details that you received in 2022?
