How can I improve my English in 4 months?

Hello, I am a young immigrant in Ontario. I have been here for 5 weeks. It is embarrassed to say that I have been spending much time on the interent. I can't guarantee that my english skill has been improved, because I have not studied english so hard since I arrived Canada.
I will go to college in September , so I should hear many warning message from a lot of people with wisdom. I don't mean that I will take action if I hear harsh tings on the internet, but I need something to stimulate my mind.
I can accept whatever you want to say.

More generally, get out and about in the town/city where you are living: find out about activities you are interested in and join in, the best way to import was your language skills is to use and practise, practise practise them! So go out and interact
