How can I extend my Visa while working under PGWP ?

Hi there,

I'm working fulltime under my PGWP which will expire on April, 2017. Now, I need to extend my Visa (expired on September 30, 2014) for travel purpose. I tried to apply online through CIC but it keeps rejecting my application saying I'm not eligible for a Visitor Visa ?? Is there any other link for me to extend my visa differently from the website ? I think my case is different from the Visitor Visa. Thanks in advance.

There is no such thing as "Visitor Visa".

Now.... if you are under PGWP you are not eligible to extend your VISITOR STATUS, as you are not a visitor, you are a worker (worker status). What you want is a new TRV for travelling purposes (TRV are not extended, you have to apply each time). That is very simple and straightforward. Use the online tool and answer that you want to VISIT Canada for less than 6 months appplying from withing Canada. Once this is done the tool will ask for your status and you should answer worker. Everything else should be straight forward.
