I'm still deciding whether to hand it in loose w/explanations on the back, or tape them to paper w/explanation beside each pic. I'm not doing the word format.

here is a nice thread! :)

I used MS Word and nested 2 photos per page with captions (where, when, who is in the picture, and who took the picture).

I have used a lot of printer ink to do this, but this is the most organized way...I think taping pictures to paper is troublesome and time consuming. If CIC require originals, we can always send them...but I doubt they will request this...

Hope this helps...

Cheers,
FS

Do what is easier for you then... There are no strict in structions so it's left up to the applicant to decide.

I know a bunch of us gave you some suggestions before, I would suggest now to just do what's best for you time wise.

My opinion though if you don't want to use word, write on the back if each photo. If you tape them they could come loose and then be lost from their description. Then maybe group them in envelopes or rubber bands or something. If you use an envelope you can label each envelope, wedding, vacation, party, Christmas, etc...

Good luck :D

I printed pictures and seperated them by baggies with a label on the front indicating what event it was for. Then I also created a master list that showed the important guests and how they related to the sponsor or applicant so that the VO knew how to identify people in the pictures. I sent a lot of pictures too...

Thanks everyone, I think I will just write on the back of each photo.

How many pics approx. did everyone send? I think I have about 30 to 35.

We had a lot of events so it ended up being closer to the 100 mark for me..

Wow, that's alot...we've been together 15 years...but I figured those photos should be good evidence enough, lol.

Yah we sent about 150.... But I take soooooo many pictures at each event so it's relative t the thousands in my collection!

I think I sent 50-60. I just picked 2-4 from each time we have been together. Well except for our wedding, I sent more of that :) But I just wrote on the back of all of them the month & year, people in the photo, and where we were/what was going on. I put them loose in a small envelope.

Trust me thats good enough. Thats exactly what I did, then I sectioned them in sandwich baggies by year, the a baggie for wedding, etc...then I just used big paperclips to attach them throughout the app. You really dont have to be super fussy. I sent about 100 in total, which span over 5 years, kids, visits and wedding etc b4 and after. Don't overthink it. You'll be fine!
