How and Where to "land"

Can somebody please shed some light:


where do I need to go and what documents do I need to bring if I plan to do my "landing" process in Canada? I am currently living in Alberta.
 
Hi.

congratulations~
I am living in Calgary, and wating for PP back.
Usually, the people who living in Calgary, go to Carway border between canada and US.
Carway border is 3hours (350km) away from Calgary.
If you already got your passport(visa stamped) and COPR back, you don't need to any other documents for landing.
That meaning is you only need to passport (visa stamped) and COPR and some kind of I.D. things.
Someone who already got a landing, can make a sure about that.

Thank you for the reply. When are you expecting your passport and visa to come back? Do you know if they specifically request for an ALberta ID? My problem is that mine is already expired and renewing it will take 2 more weeks.

so i guess there won't be much to do for me either, considering that i'm already here in Montreal for 2 years on a WP...next border Bernard LaColle.....30min from Montreal...

I just got DM this week, so I hope I will get a COPR in next week.
I just sent copy of passport, so I don't need to passport back (only COPR).
I not sure they will request some I.D things specifically, I think you can use your passport for photo I.D.

great! thank you. Please do keep us posted about your landing process. I might just go to Carway if yours works out.
