Honda: Recall clearance letter

Hello All,

Did any one managed to get Recall Clearance letter from Honda for importing car into Canada ? I am being told that Honda no longer gives Recall Clearance Letter. Whats the workaround?

Looking forward to hear from people who have imported Honda cars into Canada

I have moved Car to Canada but yet to start RIV process but heard that screenshot of Honda Recall website showing no recall for VIN is sufficient.

I used the screenshot from the BMW website and that was accepted without any issues. Should be the same for Honda.

Done with entire process. I don't remember submitting/uploading screenshot anywhere. Most probably RIV did a search on Honda website based on VIN and didn't ask for anything from my side on this front.

For Honda, I contacted American Honda and they sent me a recall certificate. They emailed me as well as mailed a hard copy for free. There is no phone number online. You need to use contact us form and wait to hear back. They usually take a week to get back.

I got a certificate too, wondering if that is enough to submit. The website asks for a letter stating position, with the manufacturer's logo, etc. When contacted Toyota, they sent me a certificate with the fixes done for recalls.

I hope that should be sufficient.
