How can I show strong home ties..I am applying under spp for january intake..what all can I do to show strong home ties.

i just graduated.. I am going to get a GIC and and pay 1 year advance fee of the program
As I am applying under SPP, do I need to show other property or investments..I can show but is it valid under SPP?

In SPP do not give anything extra.

Also when I was in school , my dad applied for a family visit visa to USA ,we were refused the visa back then for USA.

Should I mention it?
the application form "Have you ever been refused any kind of visa,admission,or been ordered to leave Canada or any other country"

Yes you should. Other than legal issues USA refusal does not matter in Canada.

yes its nessery u should told them if u had rejected in pasy otherwise u will in big trouble

i don't know how it works though.. coz my passport was never stamped..and it was way back then when I was in school maybe year 2006..
it was a tourist visa for the whole family plus the fact that it was in a USA embassy.

Also i have a new passport now..

but still I am going to mention it anyway as it was a random tourist visa and that does not matter for the student visa for Canada i guess.
