Hello everyone,

I have done 12th homeschooling from Indian government approved board. I hot 7.5 bands in IELTS and also got Offer letter from Durham college I also paid 1st-semester fees. Now my immigration agent is asking me to pay full year fees because according to her my file will go to a special case(Due to homeschooling), I cannot manager full year fees I hardly managed to paid GIC and 1st-semester fees.

I did some research and found my agent wants me to apply under direct student stream program, therefore, I have to pay a full year. But my question is do I really have to go under DSP or Can I just apply for regular student visa?

Doing homeschooling makes my special case? Please someone help I am really stressed

It doesn't matter how you apply - you still have to show that you have enough funds to cover first year fees + $10 living expenses. If you apply for a regular student visa and have already paid first semester fees, then you must show you have the $10K and also the additional funds to cover second semester fees.
