Hello, my husband and I just received our eCOPR (Inland PR applicants). We would like to buy our first home but I am wondering if having the eCOPR is enough or if I should wait to get the PR Card?

You magically just have money to put down a deposit now that you have PR? Really? Where are you living?

The answer is yes, you can buy property with COPR.

I just did that in BC. Ask your realtor and your real estate lawyer. Generally realtor has one who you can consult. If you go ahead with an offer, he will be able figure it all out. You can also put that condition in the offer. These days conditional offers are nothing to be scoffed at.

Firstly congrats that you have received the ECOPR, yes you can purchase a house as you don't need to wait until your PR card.
