My husband has just been asked to get his fingerprints done by immigration Canada. But he has no vile passport or Id we are in Alberta and there is no Honduran Embassy here and he can’t travel as he has no ID what can we do we I let have 30 days to get the fingerprints

He needs to get a valid passport. What kind of app has he submitted?

It is a sponsorship application but he has no ID and can’t travel as he has no ID or passport. Does he need ID to enter Ottowa or Quebec if we travel by land. Because that is where we would need to go in order for him to get a passport?

No - he doesn't need ID to travel by land.

No. He does need a valid passport to be approved for PR, so he shouldn't have let it expire.
