So I found these stats regarding immigration. I spoke with a rep at cic who informed me that when they (cic mississauga) got a large enough bundle of applications and or other materials to send abroad then and only then will my file go to its destined VO. (Could be 3 months) ???

NOW, if you look at the chart in the link you will see the number of applications from 2011 and earlier years...So, if you multiply that number by $1040.00.....

Can anyone tell me why they will hold onto the application untill they get a big enough bundle to send? I mean come on. I would have willing added an extra 30 bucks for shipping!

Another thing....hire some more IO's dammit!

That sucks! I don't know either why they need to do that.

I think we need to make a petition for them to hire more people. 8)

With the amount of applications of all kinds I would think the 3 month build up is for less busy VO's.

LOL. This is the government. They devour the fees without a second thought. We believe that since we are paying for this service that we should be getting a service. The government just absorbs it as another tax.
