I have been a silent visitor to this forum but I must tell you that it has been very informative.
The long wait has come to an end. Well, yes it has to end somewhere!
My sincere thanks to Captain, hmisabpk, Kanamen and all those members who helped me during this process.
My apologies to goodhope and tokon for not being able to respond to your personal queries.
My dream has at last come true. My timeline is mentioned here under:
Application for PR received on 7th April 2011
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on August 23, 2011.
Medical request on the 15th of September 2011
Medicals received on 26th September 2011
PPR requested on the June 15th 2012
Passports with stamped VISA received on the 20th August 2012.
My Visa now expires on the 25th of September 2012....So I have exactly a month to go to complete my landing formalities.
My best wishes for all those who are waiting......Your turn will come next!. There is a wonderful saying "If you have to get something best in life, you will have to wait". So don't lose hope. Pray the Almighty and your prayers will be answered.
Well here again, the real test in my life begins now - I will be landing in Toronto with my wife and my 2 year old son, but still i am trying my best to find a cheap accommodation and also a job for myself. I am from the hospitality industry - can some please help me to start of with?
