High medical need category applied in March 2019 passed 9 months and no passport request yet

Hi I Ave been residing in Canada since 5 years. Came as a student in January 2015.did 1 course in ontario. Next course was done in quebec which as psw program. Then worked as a psw for 3 and half years in quebec. I applied for high medical need category in March 2019.my family is in India. Application was submitted for all of us. It was a paper application. All the documents were submitted in March including medical and police clearance. That time I was still working on quebec. In May first week I got an update stating that my experiences has been aroved and I am eligible for the program, request for wife's finger print and also they asked for proof to show that I am residing in ontario.. They asked for bills and lease agreement. Which was provided in last week of March. After that there was no update. Even they didn't update my wife's finger print in the system. Called Canadian high commission few times to complain that finger print is not being sent as vfs told me that they sent finger print to high commission next day. After 2 months in July when I called cic. They told that they received finger print. But it is not being updated. After completing 6 months.. Where they mentioned processing time s 6 months. But the average processing time is only 3 months. Called cic again still no update. Then I gave a request to MP. And her office called immigration on September 2019 28th.cic again responded that need to Waite... But the following Friday on 31 of November there was a ghost update in my file. But after that waiting time continued. MP s office followed up again on 29th of November. Then lady from call centre said that security check is awaiting. Medical has been updated. It should be noted that all the documents were submitted in March itself. And after 9 month still waiting game continues. I am kind of fed up.

Have you ordered your GCMS notes yet? That will give you a detailed explanation of what is happening. Security / background checks can sometimes take more time for some people than others - nothing you can do about that but wait.
