Hi guys i made it to canada happy as heck.. now i need your help again

Hi guys ive posted my status since january but havent updated it yet because ive landed in canada and getting myself a job and settling down.. But my question is that my parents were here before me in canada for about 7 years on a religious visa. Now im thinking of sponsoring them can anybody explain how I can do this??. Thanx forum ppl I ve always trusted your guys helpful comments. gbless

CIC is only accepting 5,000 applications each year starting in January. The cap for this year was reached at the start of the year. If you want to apply next year (and you qualify), you should be ready to submit your application January 1st.

To qualify to apply as their sponsor, you will need to prove that you meet the Low Income Cut Off (LICO) levels three years in a row through Canadian income sources. What this really means is that you have to hold a job in Canada for at least three years in a row that meets the minimum income standards and must provide three years of Canadian income tax returs in your sponsorship application to prove you meet the income minimums.

To add, if you have a spouse they can co-sponsor your parents with you. You and your spouse's combined Canadian income must meet the LICO amounts for your family size for 2011, 2012 and 2013, if you wanted to sponsor your parents in Jan 2015.
