I wanted to ask that can we do a small part-time business as a student on work permit if we stay under working hours limit? Does anyone know about business.

If we cant then can we own a property and rent it out? like a shop or a gas station or house etc?

Or is it that we can only find a job?

U cant do ANY kind of business under work permit for students!
but if u r thinking of doing property business than why not u get some kind business visa bcs a two room house will cost u atleast $25,0000.

Well I am going there for study and my intentions are also study. I am going for undergraduate. Look my primary motive was not to buy property but I was considering it an option as I don't have the psyche to do job and I am aware of property prices there. I am an excellent programmer. Have been program since I was 11. I am also good at making websites. So are you telling me that I cannot make small web development firm of my own and run it in Canada?

Yeah sure mate. I am going to the University of Alberta for Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. The admission was based on my O-level grades. Had 8 A*s and a B. My A-level grades are still to come. Only a week is left. But my expected grades on document are 2 A*s and 2 As. In SAT I scored 2130.
