hey need sum help regarding continuing education in canada ( HND BUSINESS )

HI everyone i am living in pakistan .. ma bro lives in montreal Qc and he sponsored me ma family there... almost all the immigration procedures have been done so far... n gave med check test too... waitiing for visa... now am bit confused abt educational system there in canada ... i am doin HND ( HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN BUSSINESS - UK BASE DIPLOMA PROGRAM) and have finnishd first semester here ... now i want to know that do canadian colleges/uni-s recognise my 1 semester done higher national diploma ... i mean is there any HND programs that i continue over there ...??? n if not then how thy count ma studies that i have done so far ... i will appreciate if you kindly help me ...
