hello every one am shone i would like to know that i am hep b carrier but DR said me that i dont need any treatment for it because viruses are in dead condition . i am fully fit healthy . so can i apply for immigration because i heard that canada does not accept the hep b carrier candidate

Dude if you are HbsAg positive .
Canada doesn't accept you . You are in immune tolerant phase.
Your options,,there are newer drugs out whichcan effectively cure HepB but are costly(abput 30k $) ,See a Hepatologist instead of a GP who can guide you better

Go to the home page and put in Hepatitis B carrier in the white search box at the top right.

You might find more information in these threads.
Have you already established that you qualify to come to Canada?

Hi BabaKasmani,

I'm also tested for HbsAg positive(diagnosed as chronic hepatitis B). Do you know if it makes a difference that I have already been living in Canada for 7 years? I never had to have any treatment for hepatitis B but I have been a carrier since I was a kid.

Any information is much appreciated!

Thanks

If they believe a candidate is a threat to public health or that they would be a strain on the health services they reject them. I would say the onus would be on you to prove that neither of those apply to you.

I put in a google search "cic hepatitis B inadmissibility" and found lots of relevant case law, CIC manuals, forum threads.
