Hey ,

My brother lives in ontario with a valid student and work visas.Now he wants to apply for PRfor himself and his wife and two daughters.Can someone tell me what sort of funds does he have to show for that.He has a permanent part time job in ontario.He is experienced in HR.

As per CIC website for a family of 4 is $20,599.

Now can he show that much worth of property in India.And would he be required to show that much money in his account in canada at the time of decision.

hi spssidhu, ur fnds are $20599... also u can always evaluate your property in ur case but make sure that proof of funds $20,599 should be in liquid, be it in FD, or just in bank. make sure that the proof of fund u have to show must be in liquid. otherwise there may be some problem. so u cant show property evaluation as proof of funds. so be ready to pour some cash in ur bank(20,599 $ )
