Yes you can, but don't even mention this in your application that you got married to canadian to get immigration.. They will refuse you..

Be very careful. New regulations have been set in place that make sure those to marry just to immigrate get refused.

Pharmacists are on the list of 29 occupations accepted as federal skilled workers without a job offer. Why don't you see if you have enough points and do everything the right way before considering perpetrating fraud on the Canadian Immigration system. It will be much better for you in the long run.

thx for all

thanks for all (adzees, angelB, rjessome ) very much, but there is misunderstanding......my family have friends in Canada. so i'm going to marry with thier own daughter, but they fear of that i can't immigrate to Canada because thier son married with Syrian girl in aleppo(city in Syria) then she couldn't be able to immigrate to Canada along 3 years(untill now)....

regards my friends......

You CAN immigrate as a spouse. The processing time in Damascus for spouses is usually maximum 8 months. Their daughter-in-law's case was unusual. As long as the immigration documents are fully the truth, the relationship appears genuine, and you don't neglect anything -- there is a good chance it will go well. You and the family who is sponsoring should consult the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/index.asp
in case this whole process confuses you -- you're question is very general and encompasses so much. Research a little more.

They should consult a good and reputable immigration consultant to help them put together a good sponsorship application. This will probably save you and them money and time in the long run. Maybe their son's and daughter-in-law's application wasn't put together well, hence the 3 years it took.

You could also apply under the skilled worker program as a pharmacist and once you are in Canada, you can still marry the girl if you want to.
