Hi everyone! so I sent out my application for a Fed skilled worker back in July 25th 2009 to the following address: CIC CIO, 196 George St. Sydney, NS, BIP IJ3 Canada. Then the application was reviewed by July 31st 2009 and sent back to me due to an error on the check for the fee payment. :-[

Once I received my application back, I immediately purchased a certified check for the right amount ($550 CAD) and sent it back on September 23rd. Today, I found out that it takes only 120 days. Hence, given that I sent my application by certified mail by September 23rd I thought that perhaps I should have received some type of feedback by now.

So I was wondering if anyone here had any comments about my situation.. I think I am going to contact the CIO soon just to find out what my status is.. Does anyone know what email address or phone number should I call, I've looked around their website but I'm not so sure. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone!!!

You should have received something in December i guess. Have you checked your spam folder?
Do you know if they encashed the check?

yes As Rupesh said, you check your bank from where you have made the draft. If its enchased by now by CIO then youre ok. and however, you can always contact with them.
