Hello everyone... Happy Holidays!!!


My mom is on TRV and will be going back home (Philippines) on the second week of Jan.... My son (who is a PR) wants to go with her and stay for a couple of months.. Given that we won't have any problems or concern with his school... are there any "special" papers/process that we need to do so that he could go with my mom and they can go back here with no problems at all....

Make sure your mom can enter back into Canada with no problems. Once she leaves Canada, she forfeits the TRV and has to apply for a new one. It doesn't matter if your son is PR and is present with her.

My thoughts exactly. Although if it's a multiple-entry visa (which is possible), then it's not necessarily forfeit upon exit.
