Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm having difficulty finding out how and how much I should be paying for my inland spousal sponsorship appliction + OWP.

I went to fees --> online payment --> Immigration --> Spouse and Common-Law Partner in Canada Class (theres also family class but i dont know which one to click)

Once there i tally up everything, minus the "family member of principal applicant" and it tallys up to be 1,590 for inland spousal sponsorship.

is this correct? i thought it was more around 1200-1300.
Also, How would i go about paying for the OWP for the inland application?

Any help is greatly appreciated, im having much difficulty with this atm.
Thanks

$75- Fee to sponsor

$475- Applicant's fee

$490- RPRF

Total for Inland application is $1040

OWP is another $255 ($155 + $100)

Combined total is $1295

I must be doing something very wrong then, when I use the "pay fees online" @ CIC, i follow the links up until im on this page

https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/order.do?category=15

Once i follow the instructions, ex: Pay my fees online --> immigration -->Spouse and Common-Law Partner in Canada Class, it then takes me to the above linked page, with the following choices to choose from:

1. Principal applicant (including $75 for sponsorship) = $550.00
2. Spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner = $550.00
3. Family member of the principal applicant who is under 19 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship OR is 19 years of age or older who has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 19 due to a physical or mental condition
=$150.00
4. Right of Permanent Residence Fee
= $490.00

I thought i had to check 1, 2 & 4, in order to pay for inland spousal sponsorship application.
If anyone can clarify where im going wrong with this id be so grateful! I dont mean to be a nuisance, i honestly just cant seem to get a grip on how to work this website :o

Line item 1 now includes the fee to sponsor.

You do NOT need line item 2, because that is for a person that is also bringing their spouse/partner with them (also being sponsored).

So, you just select #1 and #4.

Ponga your the best! I cant thank you enough for your help!

Just for clarification though, would you mind elaborating why #2 does not apply to me? I totally trust what you had to say, but for me to say that I understood your explanation would be a lie, and i probably wont sleep tonight until my fried brain understands what you meant with your explanation :P

Seriously?! :o
(Just kidding)

Ok...Your wife is the applicant, correct? If so there is only one person applying for PR sponsorship, right?
It just so happens that she IS the spouse of the sponsor, but because she is not married to herself, the spouse option doesn't apply.

If a person is sponsoring their parents, it would apply because one parent would be the primary applicant and the spouse would be, well...the spouse of the applicant.

Does that clarify it for you? If it does...I suggest turning off your computer/tablet for a few days and try to relax a bit. ;)

It's an overwhelming process at times, but it's also very doable!

Thank you Ponga. Words are all I have to thank you. If we were to pay you in imaginary money (lol), you will be very rich in this imaginary world of mine.

I messed up big time, I was paying online for the inland sponsorship and ended up paying for the Outland, the total amount came same. Is it ok ??
What to do ? Cancel/ call Cic / and do a fresh payment for inland spouse or what are the options ?
Trying to be so cautious yet Seem to be making more mistakes.
