I would say 2171 or 0124, depending.... what is your job title and the title of your direct supervisor?

(Yes, duties matter more than job title, I'm asking only to get a sense of where you fit in the organizational hierarchy...).

My job title is Digital Marketing Specialist and my supervisor's title is Senior Product Manager OTC, but before it was Manager, Innovative Marketing and NPP, I basically took his previous position without the manager pay and a different title. Above him is the Director of Commercial Excellence.

I saw 0124 as well, but it is more in the manager level and I did not have that much experience in the field before landing this job, I worked in the company for a year before that in IT support only, but that was while I was a full time student. Can I still apply for the 0124?

I believe here is where I would fall into based on the description of the NOC, although I had very little of the experience required.

E-business managers
  • A university degree or college diploma in a field related to electronic commerce, Web site content development, or Internet services
    and
Experience in Web site design, interactive media development, data administration or information systems analysis or experience related to Web site content are usually required.

In most cases, you can ignore "experience" requirements. However, you should not use a managerial NOC if you don't have managerial duties.

Have you looked at 4163 and/or 1123? They don't have the IT support stuff, tho. It's like you have a hybrid job...

Thanks for the suggestions, I just checked them. I do think 0124 fits the most with what I do, and 2171 could work too, but the duties for the latter are not described well in my job profile, so that might cause a problem. See how confused I am? :(

Everyone knows the NOC system is imperfect. You might want to ask your employer's opinion about the best fit.

You can also send your job description to ESDC and ask their opinion - it is always better to include 1-2 sentences about the company you work for - what they do (services/products), who the customers are - this can help distinguish between NOCs.
http://www1.canada.ca/en/contact/noc.html

Note that the ESDC opinion may be useful (or may not, you may disagree), but it is not binding on IRCC to accept their opinion.

Ultimately, which ever one you chose, if you remain in doubt, write a letter of explanation about why you chose the NOC, which other ones you considered, and why you think your job is a mix of 2 (or more) NOCs. Since all of the ones you considered are "skilled" it likely won't be an issue, as long as you provide an explanation.
