Help with Iraqi PCC / Non-Conviction Certificate

I just realized that I need to obtain an Iraqi PCC for my citizenship application. I spent some time in Iraq for work and got stuck there for about 6 months due to COVID-19 lockdowns.

The process appears to be really complicated.

I would be grateful for any advice:
- Who / how to choose a lawyer in Iraq, as a foreigner outside of Iraq
- How to get the PoA authenticated by Global Affairs Canada
- How long does it take?

Has anyone successfully accomplished this? Is it better to do it with the Embassy with this complicated process, or is there another way?
