Help with IELTS

Hello,
I have a CRS score of 467 with CLB level 9. If I sit in IELTS exam again to get CLB level 10 but instead get CLB 8, will I have to update my EE profile with my last IELTS result, which means my CRS score will go down?

No. You can choose to use your highest IELTS score.
