Can anyone help with the following questions please?

Personal Details

3. What is a UCI?
10. Current country of residence - DO I put UK or Canada? I've been here since January 2011 and I'm still here. Visa expires on March 14th where I will then stay as a visitor
10. What is my status in Canada if I am on the IEC? Worker or visitor?
13. (a) Current marital status? - I have lived with my partner for one year now. So technically we are common law. Do I put this?
(b) Is the date we officially became common law? Eg, we moved in Jan 1 2012. On Jan 1 2013 we became common-law? It says entered into so this makes it a little confusing...

Contact Info
2. Residential address - should this be the same as my answer to question 10? Or different? Technically my current country of residence is Canada but is my residential address also the same or is this different?

Education/Occupation detail
2. Number of years in education? For the highest level or in total?
4. Intended occupation? Is this for after I get my PR? Or do I leave it blank?

Dependants
Can I just remove this by pressing the button?

Thanks in advance for the help. It's such a confusing form! Just want to get it right you know?

Personal Details

3. What is a UCI? - It's the Unique Client Identifier number that you will get when they start processing your application. You can just leave it blank now.
10. Current country of residence - DO I put UK or Canada? I've been here since January 2011 and I'm still here. Visa expires on March 14th where I will then stay as a visitor - Right now you are a resident of Canada, so put Canada.
10. What is my status in Canada if I am on the IEC? Worker or visitor? - I guess if you can work with IEC you can put Worker... else put Other then state IEC in next field.
13. (a) Current marital status? - I have lived with my partner for one year now. So technically we are common law. Do I put this? - YES! Obvious question = obvious answer :P
(b) Is the date we officially became common law? Eg, we moved in Jan 1 2012. On Jan 1 2013 we became common-law? It says entered into so this makes it a little confusing... - They want the date your status changed to common-law... so Jan 1, 2013.

Contact Info
2. Residential address - should this be the same as my answer to question 10? Or different? Technically my current country of residence is Canada but is my residential address also the same or is this different? - Most likely you would put your current address in Canada... or just select "same as mailing address - yes", if its the same as your mailing address you just put in question 1 here.

Education/Occupation detail
2. Number of years in education? For the highest level or in total? - It says Number of years of education in total... so you need total! I counted from Grade 1 when i was a kid.
4. Intended occupation? Is this for after I get my PR? Or do I leave it blank? - You can put in what you expect to do after you get PR. Could just be the same as current occupation.

Dependants
Can I just remove this by pressing the button? - Yes, remove it if you dont have kids.

amazing! thanks for the help. I've been so confused about whole address/current status thing.

my status will change during the whole process you see. and people have been telling me put my country of residence as the uk even though I'm in Canada because that's where I'm permanent!

guess I should say canada as this is where I am! will yhis affect the fact I'm applying outland?

also should I notify them of my change if status? in march 15th?

Hi,you are allowed to apply Outland while still residing in Canada so you putting Canada as you country of residence wouldn't affect anything!!!-And yes you should notify cic of any changes anytime during the process:)

Here's direct from CIC website:
Current country of residence

From the list, select the appropriate information to indicate:

The name of your current country of residence. Your country of residence is the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country.

My fiancee is from Korea... but we applied using our Canadian address throughout the entire application. Never mentioned a Korea address anywhere.

Also i believe you should put your status as of the day you mail the application. If your status changes from work visa to visitor during the processing, i don't think there's a need to update CIC at all. As long as you're here legally, it should be all ok.

thats great news and helps a lot! thankyou!

should I include proof of my current status such as a photocopy of my visa?

and good idea about the other and iec option instead of just saying work permit!

I have a question about question 11 in the personal details part.

It asks for the date and place of my last entry to canada. Does this include when I drove down to the states for the day to pick someone up at the airport? or when my recent visa started?

I went to Bellingham for a day in December so do I put that and then put Vancouver as where I entered or the Peace Arch?

When you crossed back in to Canada from USA, officer at POE must have put a stamp on your passport. If that is your last entry to Canada then that is the date you put in the form

Whenever I have crossed back into Canada by land, they have never stamped my passport. They have looked at the work permit and then just let me back in.

They stamped my passport last when I entered Canada on my current work permit... Should I put this date then?

I guess you can put the date when you entered on your work permit. Though, truthfully, your last entry in to Canada is when you returned from USA even though there may not be any record in the system.
May be some one else can clarify about this technicality.

thanks. do I need so submit copies of my passport pages that show all my stamps? cos if that's the case I guess I should put my visa stamp? I'm not really sure about this one...

You do not have to copies of PP pages with entry stamps. You may enclose a copy of your work permit. Follow the Document Checklist.

Hello, I entered in Canada as an International Student on 28 August 2013 (port of entry: Montreal Airport), obtained post grad work permit on 10 June 2015 (Lacolle Border Crossing).
1. According to the IMM-0008 (generic application form) question-11 (Country of Residence: Canada, status: worker) what should be the FROM & TO date?
2. Will that be the Workpermit start and end date ? or Study Permit start & work permit end date ? or Study Permit start and today's date?
