Hello/Hi/Hola,

I am a male US citizen that currently lives in Miami, FL. I was born and raised in Peru. I have dual citizenship. My Canadian boyfriend and I are planning on marrying early next year. I was wondering when we start the process, do I apply as an American or as a Peruvian? Will I need my birth certificate from Peru and my naturalization certificate and US passport? Please advise. Thanks a lot in advance!!!

You have to provide both. The form IMM008 has two boxes for Citizenships. On the first you can mention US while on the second you can mention Peru.
You will need a birth certificate from Peru and your naturalization certificate (with US passport) as supporting documents.

indeed - but probably you should choose US as a visa office (also it makes sense because you are currently residing in the US), as the VO for Peru is quoted 15 months, and US is "only" 10... so even if you fill out the forms with both nationalities, and proofs of them, once it comes to choosing your visa office, US is probably your best choice.
Good luck,
