Hello, my name is Ahmed Ferchichi, i am 21 years old tunisian filmmaker and artist. currently i reside and study in turkey and planing to immigrate to Canada.
i am planing to apply and submit my express profile but i want to make sure of everything to avoid any disappointing and stressing rejections and delays.
i have worked as film-director and filmmaker independently and as freelancer for the past 3 years in parallel with my studies. i have written,directed,shot and edited various short films and commercials for various clients and companies. my films are recognized internationally from film festivals (awards and screenings) and platforms such as IMDB.
i want to ask will that be considered as relevant experience or not. i heard applying for the self-employed programs takes at least 2 years. i want to get an information about this issue. while creating my profile should i type self-employed in the employer section or leave it blank? will that affect the points or not. because if they will consider it as relevant experiences i might have very high chances to get an ITA.
i hope you guys help me in this matter, because i contacted couple of consultant and they were not sure about it.
