Hi all,
i currently work as a Cost accountant which is (NOC1111) on the list, soi guess i qualify and i have over 67 points. I am currenly part qualified working through My charted accounting qualification. would i still be able to qulify for FWS or do i have to wait untill i get full charted status which might take over a year.
any help would be much appriciated.

As long as you have 1 year work experience, you are qualified to apply. You don't have to be certified.

hi leon... i have almost 9 years experience on one of the job listed on 38...... but presently i am working on a job that is not listed on the lucky 38.. do i still qualify to apply?

thanks for your input...

Yes, you only need 1 year experience in a listed job sometime in the last 10 years.

Hi leon

Similar question, if one has one year in a job that belongs to the list of 38, and three years in another job did he stills qualify for full points under work experience section or just for one year.

Cheers,
Zaid

As long as they are all skilled jobs according to the NOC and this experience happened in the last 10 years, they would get full points, see the guide at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf page 14.
