Sorry, I don't really understand what your saying or asking.

You got the PPR in Dec 2011, does that mean you sent your passport to Buffalo in Dec 2011 and you still haven't received it back yet?

yes, that's what i mean, i send it in Dec 2011, still haven't got it back. meanwhile, my wife send her application as spouse.

Hmm... send a case specific inquiry to CPP-Ottawa. Do you have proof(tracking number) it was delivered to Buffalo?

yes, i have proof that the passport has delivered to Buffalo. however, the CPP-Ottawa suggest us better
no to email them.

And does this mean, your family status changed (you got married) after you got your PPR and you added your wife to your application?

If so, your wife's information will have to be processed before they can issue any visa - in essence, your application went back into processing. it will take time to process your wife's portion of the application (6 months is not unusual). But I'm surprised they did not return your passport, 6 months is a long time to be without it.

You can contact CPP-O - this is an unusual circumstance. If you need your passport, you can request that it be returned until the application is finished processing, and that you will resubmit it (along with your wife's) when required...

Somehow i saw the cic web said: better do not send email for inquiry. that's the reason i make not contact
with Ottawa so far, but my ME almost one year, i don't know what should i do now.
