Hello Forum i am very new here and i really need some guidance, i have held the positions below however i am confused as to what NOC i am to use 2171,2174,2173 or 2281 i sent an email to noc-cnp@workingincanada.gc.ca however i haven't gotten a response from them:

Position: Programmer/Analyst
Duration: 2010-Current

Main Duties:
1. Document user system requirements using structured and well defined system methodologies in support of further solution implementation.
2. Provide Application support to users and where necessary liaising with vendors as part of the problem resolution process.
3. Identify areas of the Organization’s business operations that can be improved and design and develop workable solutions for implementation.
4. Develop queries and reports as per user specifications.
5. Ensure that change management and documentation procedures are adhered to.
6. Assist in the transfer of skills gained through training and experience to other members of staff.
7. Ensures the design and architecture of implemented systems considers all stakeholders and optimizes the use of available technology in providing the solution.
8. Assist in the development, testing, install and implementation of new/enhanced system software, to meet user requirements according to policies, procedures and controls, changing circumstances, and existing inefficiencies.
9. To provide project and systems support, as well as guidance throughout the complete Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) encompassing Requirements gathering, Systems Design, Systems Development (programming), Testing, Implementation and Project management.



Position: Systems Administrator
Duration: 2007-2010

Main Duties:
1. Performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, network, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups and replication.
2. Installing or upgrading servers and configuring hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational/policy requirements.
3. Applying OS patches and upgrades on the prescribed schedule, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
4. Monitoring and maintaining the main server and satellite server rooms and associated equipment throughout the organization.
5. Performing ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimization as required.
6. Assisting with the development, testing and implementation of new/enhanced hardware and network solutions, to meet user requirements according to policies, procedures and controls, changing circumstances, and existing inefficiencies.
7. Write scripts/small programs to solve user issues

The Second position is a definite 2281.

The First position is definitely not 2281.
