HELP !!! What happens if i get married while being sponsored by my cousin?

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am currently being sponsored by my cousin( 72 yr old lady). However, I fell in love and married my husband in canada. I am here on a student visa and is also being sponsored.
My papers are in its final stages just waiting for their final decision. What happens now? Do they stop the process my cousin started
when i tell them I got married or do they continue it seeing as though it is in its final stages?

I dont think it will cancel your application. If your cousin gets married that may cause problems, but i dont think it matters if you get married. (im not an expert but i wanted to reply because no one else has replied to you)

I don't even think it's necessary to tell them that you got married especially your husband is Canadian citizen (I suppose). I'd say just wait for your PR.

@Iay. Thank you for your response. Yes he is a Canadian citizen. And Like i said I am an International student who is being
filed for. I have been in the system since March 2011 and they have done the worst to me. Buffalo threw away my papers before sending it back to Ottawa and then Ottawa send my papers to Los Angeles and they told me they have no documents for me so i had to send everything again.
Now i am just waiting again for them to contact me.. Hopefully this time with GREAT news.

I'm pretty sure you have to tell CIC if your family composition changes in any way.

It won't be that difficult, just send them a copy of the marriage license and his birth certificate.

What are you being sponsored for and for which program?

Usually, marrying a Canadian won't have much effect on your applications.

Cousins usually can't sponsor each other on the Federal level. Are you going through a provincial nominee program? Or is she sponsoring you because she has no other living relatives?

You should be fine to email them. I would wait until you have the copies all together, then email them as attachments if you can. A Canadian spouse usually doesn't do much to applications. That is, unless you get PPR. Then inform them first - before mailing in your passport.

I will email them! And no I am still waiting on their final
Response for my application. I did the medical and everything already.
So now it's just the waiting for the big YES or NO . Fingers crossed its a YES!!
I also hope my marriage does not affect my application

hi miss h can u tell me how long it took b 4 cic call u 4 medical im also other relatives and havent heard from cic since august 2012 my application was transfer already my sponsor was approved wat other document did u have to get

Of July 5 months after I submitted my part of the application.
The other docs I had to provide we're
1 proof of relationship to sponsor
2 tax papers from my sponsor
3 sponsors proof of citizenship
I think that was it! But am still waiting as buffalo threw away all my papers
So now am in a zone where I am just waiting patiently
