My bro applied for may intake 2016. Profile as follows:
10th:74%
12th:77%
Bachelors in commerce:65% ( no backlogs but had one year gap in studies)
Ielts-7.5 with no less than 6
4.5 years experience as office administrator. Applied for post graduate certificate international business management with George brown college under spp from Delhi.
Refusal reason:Other reasons
Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of your qualification, previous studies, employment, language abilities or your future prospects or plans
Applied for caips on 7/April/2016
First of all he dint add a medical note from his doctor stating his illness, which lead to his one year gap in b.com. Secondly the sop was very weak as basically b.com and his experience do not have so much relevance to the international business course. The course is based around import/export laws, freight forwarding, custom laws etc.His second time plan is to pay both semester fees, attach medical note from doctor, take a letter from GBC stating applicant background is relevant to the course and attaching a character certificate from his college in India.
So kindly suggest what all changes he can make in his SOP to show relevance between his studies, work exp and International business course.
