help, unemployed but im sponsoring my common law.

I sponsor my common law last year, but im not employed right now. (im trying my best to find a job...) will there be a problem on my application. To be eligible to sponsor I need to meet the income guidelines. if I dont, what will happen? is there anything I can do? thank you

There are no income requirements to sponsor a spouse / common law partner. You just can't be on social assistance / welfare.
