Hi
I have a dual intent LMIA, and have applied for both Work Permit and Express Entry. For the EE, I had to go through Upfront Medical Exams. At that time, I did not have an IME number, because it's upfront.
A week later, I received the request for the Medical Exams for the Work Permit, with a form, with the IME number on it.
I called the Physician's secretary, asking her about the possibility of adding this number to the e-Medical system, but was not very friendly, and told me that she's not able to change the information on the system, neither to create a new report on it.
Therefore I decided to submit my existing reports, from the upfront exams, to CIC. CIC has sent an ACK of receipt, but the medicals exam still appear as "We need your medical information".
So two questions:
1) After submitting medical exams, is it normal to stay in this status for some time, before moving to "Review in progress"?
2) Has someone been in a similar situation? If so, how did you proceed?
Cheers
