Help! undeclared husband

Hello,

I came here October last year as a temporary worker under live-in caregiver. 3 days before I fly in Canada, me and my boyfriend decided to have a secret civil wedding. Now my problem is, is it too late to declare or notify the immigration about this change of status? I need to file my taxes for 2017 and I don't know if this will have a negative effect when I apply for my PR in the future. Please help.

I don't see this as a 117(9)(d) case. It may be misrepresentation but the OP is not applying for PR yet. It's unclear if a TFW, even in the LCP stream needs to declare marital status changes at this stage.
