hello im a newbie here and im planning to apply by early 2011.i just want to ask if my 5 years of experience of private dental clinic will be credited as work experience? isit okay if the clinic is now non existing?what documents will i present to prove that i had a clinic before?thank u so much in advance godbless us all! DREAM BIG! SEE U CANADA!!!
 
Assuming you mean that you worked as dentist and had your own clinic, and this was within the past 10 years, then yes.

For some reason, only the New Delhi visa office instructions provide guidance on proof of self-employment experience. Refer to this guide for how to document it -

thank u so much for your reply... i helped a lot..question? do i have to complete all in the list?because i only had a atleast 3 like the dti reg, the registration from municipalities and invoices but the balance sheets and ITRs are already destroyed..is it possible if i will attach an affidavit of loss?anyway its non existing business?thank u again

I would try to give as much as possible on the list. Sorry, don't know what an ITR is, but depending on what country you are from, it is possible to get copies of tax documents from the tax agency. Doesn't really matter if the business is closed. Include a letter describing the business (as if you were writing the letter of employment for yourself), and attach as much documentation as possible. You will want to prove that you met all licensing and regulatory standards, income earned & taxes paidl...
