HELP. Restoration of study permit.

Hi,
So my study permit expired yesterday. I wasn't able to apply for it due to lack of documents. But I will have all the docs by this week.
My question is - I just have 1 more semester to study Jan 2015 - April 2015. So I have acceptance letter which shows course end date as April 2015.
But Restoration takes around 16 weeks. So definitely I won't be able to attend Jan Intake. So Should I apply with same acceptance letter or get another one which will ends on Sept, 2015. I just have 1 semester. I don't want them to think that I just increasing my stay as student for no reason.

So what you guys suggest ? Same letter ??
And How much funds should I show ??
And transcripts are mandatory ??

If I'm missing anything please tell me.

Hi aman,

Donn't worry .. You still have got 30 days of restoration period after your study permit last date .
And just check about the availability of your course .. If last sem is available completely in may intake .. Then go with the letter which shows septmbr as end date ... And you can also go for jan intake , as it only take 14-18 days in actual .

Donnt go for sept intakein aniways as 2 drops regularly means guaranted refusal

I will suggest you to consult a lawyer asap as this is very critical thing .

If you got refused in restoration period .. Then you will not have any chance to re-apply for it aftr that period .
You can only apply on HNC grounds after it .. In which u have to show any family problm or somthng .. But its only 20-30 % chnce .

So take it seriously and go to a lawyer tommorrow . Thanks

About funds ... 2000 is mandiatory but now u are in restoration .. So u should go for 3000-4000 cad ... Just show it .. Collect it from frnds and give them back aftr you got ur stamnt .. Collct as more as you can ..

If they will ask for transcripts .. Then only you have to provide them ...
If they asked for it .. Its not a good thing .. Make sure u r prepared with a story or lawyer if they asked for trnscripts ...

Thank for the reply.
So I have statement of 5000 CAD in my account.
I worked for college student association. So I will be attaching the resignation letter too. In order to show respect towards the rule of stop working after expiration.
I got new acceptance letter telling my program will finish in August, 2015. As Restoration takes 14 weeks and I won't be able to attend a Jan Intake.
I even got a readmit form signed by program advisor. Which allow me re admit in Summer Intake. Should I include that too ??

Any more docs ??

I dont think you can study or work while waiting for the outcome. Yes, include the readmit form for the Summer.

I wasn't studying this semester. And I left the job before the expiration of permit and already received my resignation letter.
So now I have one acceptance letter (LOA) which is used in study permit extension + Re Admit form from program advisor which allow me to take summer, 2015 intake.

Any advice ??

Yea .. Include more supporting documents you can ... But make sure ur gap donnt exceeds 4 months .. I.e you start from sept. Is not advisable in aniways .. Go for may ...

If your gap exceeded 4 months .. Than you have to go back to your home country and come back when your study starts ... As per rule

Try not to exceed your gap over 4 months .. Attach as much supporting docs as ypu can ... And again must consult a lawyer or immigration about this ...

I have experianced these cases .. Thats why am telling you ..

Yes, I will be taking May Intake only. I just have 6 subjects to Grad. No way I'm gonna extend it.
